Axis + Arbor is an artisan woodworking and craftsman studio specializing in hand-crafted designs and installations from unique, found materials. Inspired by their technique of mixing modern with rustic, we developed a logo and branding style that combines those ideals.

The Axis + Arbor team uses limited hardware and relies primarily on fitted connections, intricate grooves, and negative space between slots to assemble their furniture pieces. We wanted to make sure this impressive technique was reflected in the shape and space of their logo.
